She earned a Masters degree in human service and human resource education from Boston University and a Bachelor of Science degree in business and management from the University of Maryland. She is a member of the Professional Association of Resume Writers and Career Coaches (PARW/CC) and maintains the Professional Certified Resume Writer (CPRW) certification. She is also a Certified Federal Job Search Trainer (CFJST).
